1. What is your current occupation? Is this what you chose to be doing at this point in your life? Why or why not?

I'm a computer geek. It's what I chose to be. Unfortunatly, it's transformed from my passion, into my avocation, into my major, into my career, into my vocation, into my job.

2. If time/talent/money were no object, what would your dream occupation be?

Doing the same thing, only for fun deadline and dumbness free open source projects, interleaved with the "job" of being a travel junkie.

3. What did/do your parents do for a living? Has this had any influence on your career choices?

My mom was a teacher, and then a full time domestic engineer. My dad was a construction worker, and is now a world class metallurgical engineer. Education was always important.

4. Have you ever had to choose between having a career and having a family?

Not "between", per se.

5. In your opinion, what is the easiest job in the world? What is the hardest? Why?

I have no idea. The proverb of "walk a mile in his shoes" warns against trying to guess the answer to a question like that.
