A camera for my Dad.
My Dad has been using an old Sony Mactiva digicam for years and years now, but it's finally given up the ghost, and he has been having problems finding floppy disks and floppy disk drives for it.

What he wants is a simple, not really expensive, with flash, OPTICAL zoom, OPTICAL macro, at least two megapixel, inexpensive removable memory (preferably CompactFlash). He's going to be using it to take pix for emails, websites, and medium quality inkjet prints for reports. No need for film quality.

I started to recommend a Kodak DX3700, but it looks like they don't make that one any more.

So, what do y'all recommend?

I like the Canon S1xx and S2xx series, not sure about optical macro on them, though. Nice and small, but not stunningly cheap.
