I just dumped K5 from my feed reader was, for a long time, a more intellegent slashdot. I almost never read the comments on either one, as not being worth the time. (If I wanted USENET, I knew where I could find it.)

But the headlined articles on K5 were almost always interesting and often unusual. K5 is where I found the stories of the Prime Intellect, Passages in the Void, and other cool stuff.

The K5 user community has been yelling at itself for years now, about all the various social and socialolical stuff that happens in an online discussion forum. I've ignored all that, and kept reading the headline articles.

But not anymore. I just dropped it from my feed reader.

K5 is now boring.
