Gym. Session 41 of 124. Chest, Biceps, Abs.
The chest is getting back to where I was before I hurt my shoulder. Started with dumbell press, and then did 70x12x3 on the hammer machine press, which is better than last time. I could probably have gone much heavier, but I'm now really touchy and careful. Dumbbell flys, barbell bicep curls, rope-grip bicep curls, and then (ug!) 15m doing abs. Starting with The Plank. I hate the plank. And I hate leg lifts even more. Did bang out a fair number of standard crunches tho, but now I predict an unpleasent time getting out of bed tomorrow morning.

Stronger and stronger, better and better, harder and harder.

The plank is quite an effective abs exercise isn't it ? Its part of my normal routine, done every session for at least one minute on front (managed 1½ mins today) and side abs after I've done the legs raised crunchies I do. After that its the leg lift-type things. Whilst its taking some time to work, this work is slowly having an effect.

I just have one question?

This is session 41 of 124, so I'm guessing you paid for 124 sessions.

Will there be a session 125 or are you going to stop working out?

Sincerely,
Dying of Curiousity

I haven't decided yet.

I'm certainly not going to stop working out, the question will be do I work out with a trainer, or on my own, or do some sort of transition.

I've been discovering I study a lot better when I have a teacher looking over my shoulder. If I could afford to have my piano teacher sit in on my practice, I would...

Hiring someone to look over your shoulder...

Ha, ha! That reminds me of the episode of Will & Grace when Jack hires Demi Moore to be his babysitter. :-D
