Dear Lazyweb. Treo680, VersaMail, ChatterMail, or SnapperMail
My new work phone is a Treo680 smartphone.

My work email (and now also my personal email) is accessed via IMAP.

I've getting really annoyed with the stock VersaMail program on the Treo. It's poor handling of subfolders is really stupid.

The two big competative contenders seem to be SnapperMail and ChatterMail.

Any experience? Recommendations?

Chattermail by far, though it has some subfolder problems too.

Be sure and check out the excellent native PalmOS Google Maps application. It even integrates with the contacts list in your phone, so if you pull up a contact who has the Address field defined, you can just hit a "Map" button and Google Maps opens up and displays that location.

Seconded. I checked out a number of clients, like SnapperMail, before picking ChatterEmail. I'm using it with IMAP to connect to both Exchange at work and now Gmail.

I personally use Cingular's licensed XpressMail which is quite good, and even offers push-mail with the assistance of a helper app. running on a Windows box. It's the best mail app I've used on my Treo 650, so far.
