More free wifi, Bellevue
Cool. The city of Bellevue has free WiFi as well. So I can sit in the Starbucks, and be online, and not pay SBC for the Starbucks connection, or ATTWS for the B&N connection next door.

Now, when is Seattle going to step up and join the 21st century?

I believe there's free WiFi in the Center House at Seattle Center.

But they're probably holding off because they need to figure out how to tax something free.

I don't have a WiFi capable laptop. I wish I did. I could really use one on the road.

no slot for a card? Or no card to put in your slot? Oh.. that sounded bad. i found a cheap one that seems to work ok at Fry's for $15. Better than a 2000meter length of CAT5. :)

No, actually I mean no laptop at all.

But in my work, a laptop with "Streets and Trips" with the little USB GPS receiver would be a godsend.

I've tried asking for a castoff in my journal, but nobody has offered.
