Buy one of my Dad's wooden stools
I remember being little, watching and helping my dad and my grandpa make wooden stepup stools. We had stepup stools in every room. I have one in my room right now , that my geriatric cat uses to get up on the bed. And down in the kitchen, is a heavy-duty one, made by my grandfather.

Now you can own one as well. My dad is manufacturing them (no, really he is, in his workshop on the family compound, not outsourced somewhere) and my sister wyckhurst is selling them.

I'm 6'3" and I still use mine. You need one, trust me.

You should say how much 'n stuff.

My dad and grandpa did the woodworking thing, too.
Sawdust smell = happy memories.

My grandpa was actually a master carpenter and construction foreman, and my dad was trained in the same skills.

Price is $29 plus shipping 4lb. If you preorder now, I'll see if I can bring some back this weekend or over xmas.

He might consider making nursing stools too.

I'm not sure he can compete with that price. The step ups are infinitely useful for nursing and beyond, really. :-)

P.S. All these years I thought you were 6'2"! Shows what I know.

It's amazing what happened when I was taught how to stand up straight.

Hey, those are very nice. If I didn't already have a similar wooden footstool I'd be all about it.

I <3 seeing people doing cottage production and self-distribution of goods. :-) They're almost always better quality than anything mass-produced and the profits go right to the craftsman. I try to support that kind of business whenever I can.

Indeed. Plus, these have been market tested for a few generations now. They's awesome. :)

I use mine to the point I would be lost without it!

What? No padding and hitching rings? :-)

Whew, my business is safe. :-)

Hmmmm, seems to me I used to have one that was very very similar to that, only it had a picture of Cadmus and the Dragon on it. Extremely useful, of course, until some right bastard took off with it...:)
