I said that (Well not exactly) when I first heard of it. It's a language designed to meet the requirements of engineering managers, with all kinds of rubber bumpers on it so that the Engineers can't make mistakes (ha!).

Programming to a virtual machine that is lower than the least common denominator, and don't get me started on people who think Swing is actually a Mac-like interface....

Hmmmm... For some reason I'd thought that was well enough established to not need comment. Or maybe I just hang out with hardcore language bigots.
