Vancouver PHP Conference

Zoning out in a comfy chair
Originally uploaded by krow.
From Sunday night to Tuesday evening, I was at the PHP Vancouver conference.

Vancouver is a lot like Seattle, except that it's much bigger, a bit colder, and a fair bit dirtier.

I don't know much PHP at all, but it was a useful and educational experience anyway. I learned about OpenID, rolled my eyes at an antipropertian at the "Open Source in Vancouver" public forum, made some cool tech contacts, such as the guys from DeviantArt.com, and pimped my own projects.

krow took this picture of me Saturday night.

"Vancouver is a lot like Seattle, except that it's much bigger, a bit colder, and a fair bit dirtier." Wow I always found it cleaner, how odd.

I like the way Canada's traffic light crosswalk buttons actually do something..
You press the button and the light.. Changes! :)
