Bannerize Me! If only it were that easy...
After about a year and a half break, I walked back into my old 24 Hour Fitness gym, and signed up again. I had told my friends and family I was going to do it in March, so, here I am.

Prepare for regular updates on the strength and weight metrics.

I went today -- the trainers teased me for looking confused when I got off the treadmill, until I told them that this time last week the doctor said I had pneumonia. I think I'll go tomorrow, too.

I've had issues with 24-Hour Fitness - I hope that they aren't snippy when you try to cancel.

And yes, definitely keep us posted. Pictures are good.

That's awesome. I miss excercise. Even the walk to my dentist appointment was a luxury in that regard; I spend far too much time trapped in cars, office chairs, classrooms, and on busses for my own good.

Before and after pictures, or a good and comprehensive set of body measurements, are very helpful in measuring progress towards fitness goals. It's hard to set a goal that way ("I want to have 17" biceps" doesn't work for most people) but it does clearly show the changes you've made in your body.
