I Am A True Geek
It's the intermission of the ConFurence 15 Cabaret. There just happens to be a working and open 802.11B access point somewhere here in the Burbank Hilton convention center. I look forward to when the entire planet is covered with free wireless internet access, but until then, it's great to find little spots like this.

The show so far has been fabulous. Especially, of course, the bits starring omahas.

The rest of the con has been pretty blah. It's truly a dying con, and will probably be the last one of its name.

Current Mood: bouncy bouncy
Current Music: intermission music

I had forgotten that this was ConFurence weekend. Wish I had some dough to make it out there!

It'd be a pity if this were the last ConFurence... Especially since it's the original furry convention. If there's a CF next year, I might go to that, possibly even instead of going to Further Confusion. Hard to say at this point.

It's cool that they had a WiFi access point running wide open like that. Where I work, Honeywell has a WiFi access point running totally open without security, but I've noticed that my iBook's interaction with it is a bit flaky.
