I've had a couple of friends and family ask me about the news about the US/EU tussle for "control of the internet". Here are two articles that are good reading of the issue.

Here is the executive summary: The US doesn't control "it". The EU can't take control of "it". There is no "it" to control, especially the part the EU is trying to grab.
