It's actually sort of true.
While wandering around wikipedia, I discovered the entry for Radio Yerevan jokes. The best humor is funny because it's true, and this one especially so...

Q: What is the difference between socialism and capitalism?
A: Capitalism makes social mistakes, while socialism makes capital mistakes.

While randomly wandering, I also found an MP3 of an intro to a old TV show I remember from my childhood. Actually finding the thing and knowing that it wasn't some fever dream is very relieving.

The Mike Myers SNL skits always pissed me off because I was the only one of my friends who knew the context.

BTW, the updated kids show is Chalkzone and it blows, heartily.

Do you remember TurkeyTV?

A few weeks ago I was describing that very cartoon to joyful_storm, specifically the episode wherein Simon turns the chalk soldiers into a marching band. When I saw it, I think it was as part of "Pinwheel" on Nickelodeon.

I never watched "Pinwheel", it was after my time.

I saw it on "Captain Kangaroo".
