“holy cow!
i knew that lush had opened a store in bellevue square
and i knew that it had opened last week
so i figured that today
it mostly would have died down
and i could go do do some shopping there
turns out that tonight was the official opening party
even thought they had been open for a week
so i actually had to stand in line
for like twenty minutes
to get into the store
did my shopping
i took some pictures
i'll put them on my LJ later
i need to come up some other excuse
to occationally go down to vanc--, er, up to vancouver
or down to portland”

Lush is a dangerous place :)

Personally I use their Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo, Coolaulin conditioner and Flying Fox shower gel in the shower. AFter all, why take one bottle of crap product into the shower when you can take three decent products which do good things for your hair & skin ?

Their Karma fragrance (also available as soap, bathbombs, dusting powder, etc) is really nice as well.

Whoa! Just last week I was trying to find out if they were open yet and Bellsquare's website wouldn't supply a date yet.

Maybe I can head over there tomorrow... not that I've used up the stuff from the last run, but I've been looking forward to it so!

I'm trying to tell from your pictures, and I can't: what part of the mall is it in?

I don't know enough about Bellevue Square to explain it, but it's in the main section, on the ground floor. I found it pretty easily with the mall maps.

Ground floor, okay, that's what I wasn't sure about. I could see the elevator in the back of one of your pictures, so I was trying to figure out if it was near Aveda & the Body Shop (on the second floor) or near L'Occitane (on the ground floor). Obviously they'd put it near one of the other expensive toiletry shops... not sure quite why it works that way even in malls, but it does seem to.
