Is it time to do some convergence, and get a new Palm LifeDrive to replace my Palm V and my Archos Jukebox 20?

The LifeDrive only has 3GB while my JB has 20. But some of that storage can go towards books... And the LD has WiFi.

It's a nice-looking package. I don't understand why it doesn't have a larger hard-drive though. Price point?

It is a 4GB drive - basically the same drive used in the 4GB Mini iPod - 3.85GB usable. It is probably the single most expensive component in the unit, so the price point is probably it. The only drives that size, IIRC, are 4GB, 5GB, and 6GB.

The LifeDrive does take MMC/SD cards as well, so you can use those to carry more if needed.
