Friday evening, he and his and I enjoyed our semi-traditional Fish Friday. This time it was halibut chowder in breadbowls. No red anti-oxidants where sampled this time, but the food was yummy. Since all their usually babysitter options fell thru, they asked if I could `sit Kouryou-chan and Yamarashi-chan the next evening. Sure, that's always fun.
While driving back down to their place Saturday evening, I got stuck in some traffic. Right where 518 goes under the SeaTac runway approach lights, there was a light pickup truck flipped onto it's side. I still can't figure out how it got that way. I'm sure it would have made more sense if I could have seen the rest of the involved cars, but they had already been towed away.
After they left for an adult couples evening with some friends of theirs, I made grilled cheese sandwiches for Kouryou and grilled tuna sandwiches for Yamarashi, let them watch some Uninhabited Planet Survive and some Snow Fairy Sugar, read some Maia: A Dinosaur Grows Up and some Little House in the Big Woods, and then they fell asleep on either side of me. Awww, kawaii.
