300 MCG of melatonin, taken an hour ago. We'll see if that works.

Not enuf piano practicing was done this last week, it's going to hurt at Mr Henry's tomorrow evening.

Early this evening, I gave kespernorth a ride down to SeaTac to pick up chemicallace, and then back up to his place. I'm glad she was able to make it, it was sounding for a while like she was going to be trapped on campus over the holidays.

I am becoming convienced that the "approach security" of airports is not to actually provide actual security. It's a jobs program for more cops, and is also a deceitful way to try to force people into the parking structures, where I would have to pay for two hours of parking, when I really only needed 20 minutes worth. Assholes, all of them.

A couple of nibs and converters are in the kitchen being cleaned. The cats *hate* the ultrasonic cleaner. Which means they're all in the bedroom, hunched on the bed.

You are correct.

Speaking as someone working for a company trying to make more security products, security policy changes generally have nothing to do with actual security, but with LOOKING like you're doing something with security. Generally they are done not merely after the horses have escaped from the barn, but after the horses have evolved into horse-barbarians and have looted your farm, raped your cattle, and burned the barn you are now attempting to lock. But by golly that's a shiny, new, and very strong lock you're putting on that burned-out shell, sir.
