I feel bad for someone.

A few years ago, I found a Home Depot Store Credit voucher card in the gutter. I've been carrying it around since, and was reminded of it when I went shopping today for a small chest freezer for the fish I will be bringing home next week.

So, I had the checkout clerk look it up. I was expecting it to be empty, or have something like twelve cents in it.

It had over three hundred dollars in it.

They have no way to trace it to an owner, it's cash.
