How to shoot yourself in the foot, when you have an IT department.

You write a detailed request, describing which foot you want shot, from what range, with what kind of bullet and gun. (After making SURE that the IT department will admit to having said gun and bullet available for use.)

A day later, you foot is returned. Not shot, but deep-fried.

All I want out of the people I work with is that they either do what I tell them to, or tell me that they won't. Is that too much to ask?
