I took the Forester to the dealer this morning. It's sitting there now, waiting for a tech to go spelunking. I hope it's as simple as a dead mouse in a vents. The alternative is a deep detail, and if that doesn't work, I don't know what to try next.
Until a few years ago, I had incorrectly thought that "detailing a car" meant painting little stripes and logos onto it. Why don't they just call it "washing"?
I left a message yesterday afternoon with the SPD officer in charge of recovered property in the CapHill area. I hope I get lucky.
AT&T Long Distance has "slammed" me, and presented me with a wildly overinflated LD bill, with a buck a minute sort of rate. It's sad, now AT&T are one of the scumwads. Time to start arguing with a telephone CSR.
Fraud should be punished by flogging, and slamming should be fraud. After a couple of CEOs get have their backs flayed down to the bone on live TV (think of the ratings!), maybe they will get a clue.
I'm among the more hardcore freemarket / libertarian types, mainly because I can see that the system works, despite the venal idiocy and reflexive dishonesty of CEOs and corporate executives, sort of like what J Golden said about "Ignoramus Elders".
