Burning Man Advice #0. Introduction
I am starting a series of posts about my personal experiences and advice on how to enjoy Burning Man.

I will try to be as direct and practical as possible, and focus on my own experiences and lessons learned, and on what I directly saw myself.

This year will be my 3rd time to the Playa. There are many people with much more experience than me. In addition to my advice, you should use your own judgement, and also carefully read all the documentation at the Burning Man website.

Dust and Sex

The dust can also get into other membranes, and you don't want it there. Some advice from friends who go to the burn.

You might want to cover this in your posts.

1. Wear underwear to avoid getting corrosive dust in your delicate bits
2. Take baby wipes with you
3. Wipe before sex (both/all of you)
4. Wipe down after sex
5. Put the underwear back on to protect from floating dust

This is pretty cool. I have no immediate plans to go because we're incredibly broke from living in 11 places in the past 12 months, but once we get back to the southwest, I probably will. It's very interesting reading, in any case. These are not issues I think about in either cool, rainy Seattle or steamy DC.
